The bed linen is 100% Egyptian cotton, with firm and comfortable modern mattresses. Tinto is the largest bedroom with a super-king-size four poster bed (6ft wide). The furniture is mostly Edwardian, and the decor is William Morris. The bay window looks out over the hills to the south west. A private, art-deco, listed bathroom is nearby, with toilet, washbasin and the original Victorian bath, (with a shower fitting). Luxurious cotton bath-robes are provided. Culter Fell has a king-size bed, inspired by a Charles Rennie Mackintosh designed chair. The window seat overlooks the hills to the south west. The room is decorated in Edwardian style with Mackintosh design furniture and curtains. There is a full size 1904 Edwardian "compactum" or wardrobe, with military style drawers and a patented clothes hanging system. A private bathroom, with bath (and shower fitting), toilet and washbasin is just down the hall.
